Founded over 10 years ago, Studio 9 has developed a reputation amongst musicians and producers as Hackney and Shoreditch’s best kept secret.

Located in the iconic Briggs Building along Regents Canal and Southgate Rd, Studio 9 has become home to many bands and recording artists in need of a well-equipped, great sounding room with an open music policy.

The studio’s structure was entirely hand-built, from hanging its ceiling to building a room within a room. The sound inside has been tailored to the space so you get a clean palette to craft and shape your tone however you want. We recently added extra acoustic treatment, analysing frequency responses across both live and control rooms making the sound sharply balanced throughout the studio.
